  • What does the person receiving my encrypted messages need in order to read them?
The person to whom you are sending encrypted messages must either have the Eglum Encrypter (purchased, full version) OR the Eglum DecrypterLite, which is distributed free of charge and can be downloaded from our website (see PRODUCT --> FREE Decrypter section). They must also have the decryption password so that they could view the text.

  • How can I transfer encryption passwords securely?
Presently, the most common method of password transfer is over the phone, fax, or quite simply using e-mail. There is, however, a large risk of the password falling into the wrong hands. This is why we offer you a unique service called the Online Account Keeper, specially designed for this purpose. It is available to all registered users of Eglum Encrypter and it is by far the most effective method of securing your confidentiality during a password transfer (see PRODUCT --> Password transfer section)

  • Can I send the Eglum DecrypterLite as an attachment with my encrypted e-mail?
Yes, you can by all means send the Eglum DecrypterLite along with your encrypted mail. This program is distributable, royalty-free and can be obtained at absolutely no cost.

  • What should I do if I can't get my Key Number online?
Please send us a request to this e-mail address: support@eglum.com. Make sure to include your Registration code and Lock Number, so that we can promptly reply with your Key Number.

Please note that your letter to us must include our anti-spam tag atlantis1082.
