3. Define an Anti-Spam Tag, which will help you protect against spam.

How to configure mail programs and POP3 servers
After you have installed Eglum SpamSnare on your computer, the first thing you need to do is configure Eglum SpamSnare to the mail programs and/or POP3 server that you use to send and receive e-mail and that you want to protect from spam.

This should be done through the Mailing agents option from the Main Menu. When you click on this option, a window called MAIL AGENTS AND POP3 SERVERS will appear and it will contain a list of mail programs. You need to activate the checkboxes of those mail programs and/or POP3 servers from this list that you want to defend from spam. Once you finish configuring, click on the Complete button at the bottom of the window to save your settings.

For more information, please refer to the section in the User Manual entitled Configuring mail programs and POP3 servers.

How to define your Anti-Spam Tag
The Anti-Spam Tag is a key element of the Eglum SpamSnare. It allows the program to identify messages that are not spam.
First, you need to choose a value for your Anti-Spam Tag. It could be a word, a phrase, a combination of letters and numbers, etc. Then, you need to enter this value into the program. Click on the Anti-spam tag option from the main menu, enter your Anti-Spam Tag in the window called CHANGE ANTI-SPAM TAG, and finish by pressing the OK button.

For more information, please refer to the section in the User Manual entitled Working with the Anti-Spam Tag.
