Before you start using the Web Form Toolbox software you need to have the following things completed :

Install Web Form Toolbox on your computer.

Have one or more web forms placed on a web server.*

Have a CGI-script to process web forms installed on your server. You can download it for free in the Free CGI scripts section.

Configure Web Form Toolbox to work with your web forms.
 
*If you already have a functioning web form (or more than one form) on your website, then you don't need to perform this operation - it has been done by your website designer.
 
Sample: Installation of a web form and a CGI-script on the free Netfirms web server.
First, you need to open an account at http://www.netfirms.com. Follow the steps below :

Go to the Netfirms website and select the option Signup -> FreeName Subdomain (http://www.netfirms.com/signupfree).

Enter your company name (for example, eglum). Your website address will look like this: http://www.eglum.netfirms.com

Download a CGI-script from our site (Free CGI scripts section).

Place this script in the cgi-bin directory of your account at the Netfirms server, using an FTP.

Place the web form to which the program will be configured on your website at the Netfirms server, using an FTP.

This is only a sample. Of course, a CGI-script and a web form can be installed on any other server, and not only on www.netfirms.com.
After everything listed above is completed, you can proceed to the next step: configuring Web Form Toolbox.
